Inscription. In honor of Richmond County veterans who served in the defense of their country, and with grateful appreciation for those who made the supreme sacrifice.
 
Erected 1988 by Richmond County and the Ladies Auxiliary of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 7167, Warsaw, Virginia.
