Additional commentary.
1. Additional Information about the marker
This marker was my idea and creation. As a member of the Bedford County Historical Society, I was asked to create something to celebrate the 250th Anniversary of the founding of the town of Bedford. I came up with the idea to create a bronze plaque / marker centering around the survey by Surveyor John Lukens.
