1. Riggs & Pettijohn Cabins Marker
Inscription. Stephen R. and Mary Riggs built a new home for their family here in 1848. The one-story frame house contained a living room, small kitchen and two bedrooms. Mission farmers Jonas and Fanny Pettijohn built their cabin nearby. Both cabins were destroyed by fire in 1854.
