"The Save The Stack Committee"
In April, 2010, a small group of impassioned community members gathered together to discuss the future of Reedville's historic landmark, the 108 year-old Morris-Fisher Stack, which was rapidly deteriorating and in danger of being lost forever. They formed the Save The Stack Committee and between August 2010 and February 2012 funds were raised to enable the restoration of the stack.
The Reedville Fisherman's Museum is proud to acknowledge the hard-working individuals on the Save The Stack Committee who remained dedicated to the task and undaunted by its scope.
The Save The Stack Committee include the following members:
Blaine Altaffer, Odis Cockrell, Bill Crowther, Monty Deihl, Keith Dobson, Donald George, Maureen Gillmer, Becky Haynie, Vincent Haynie, Wendel Haynie, Joey Humphreys, Larry Jennings, Ronnie Jett, Glenn Lester, Ed Rice, Warner Rice, Frederick Rogers, Walter Rogers, Matt Smith, Gayle Sterrett, Charles Williams
