1. Kirkpatrick Family Marker
Inscription. Robert C. Kirkpatrick and his 4 sons traveled by railroad from Tennessee to California in 1876. The family learned that land in Menifee could be homesteaded, so each filed on 160 acres in this location. The oldest son, William, and his wife Callie, lived here the longest and their son Leonard was the last family member on the land, having sold by 1960. The property was later developed as Menifee Lakes.
