1. Historic Site Marker
Inscription. This was the location of a stop-over shelter for the U.S. Army wagoneers who hauled mail, medicine & supplies from Fort Abercrombie to Fort Toten. It was in use from 1867 to 1872.
 
Erected 1989 by Griggs County Historical Society.
