Bleacher Bar
Unlike any restaurant of its kind, the Bleacher Bar provides a unique window into Fenway Park from beneath the center-field bleachers. This sonor of the park was originally modeled as a batting cage in 1971 and used by both Red Sox players and their opponents for years. Renovated in May 1997, the cages continued to be used for another decade. In 2005, a batting tunnel was created adjacent to the Red Sox clubhouse for the home team, and a new tunnel was created for the visitors in 2006. With the center field batting cages no longer needed, the Bleacher Bar opened in early 2008.
