General Ronald R Fogleman. [1942- ]. As Commander, United States Transportation Command and Air Mobility Command, General Ronald R. Fogleman inspired and drove unprecedented organizational transformation that made a lasting impact on global mobility. Recognizing the importance of a strong commercial and sealift industry, he revitalized and strengthened both of these critical programs, under his leadership AMC'S airlift and air refueling forces proved unprecedented support for high visibility contingency and humanitarian actions around the globe, as the 16th Chief of Staff of the Air Force, he was the driving force behind developing the service core values of integrity first, service before self and excellence in all we do. General Fogleman's selfless devotion, patriotism and visionary leadership transformed the U.S. Air Force into the premier Air and Space Force of the 21st century. . This historical marker was erected in 2013 by Airlift/Tanker Association Hall of Fame. It is in Scott Air Force Base in St. Clair County Illinois
