Regarding Edward F. Geers. Known as "Pop" and "The Silent Man from Tennessee," Geers was born Jan. 25, 1851 and died Sept. 3, 1924. He was elected as an "Immortal" to the Harness Racing Museum and Hall of Fame in 1958.
