1. Early Rural School Marker

Inscription. Hadley Valley School was built in Olmsted County in approximately 1885 and is preserved here as a symbol of the pioneer's desire that his children have an education.

Moving of the school has been made possible by Mr. and Mrs. G. M. Lowry in memory of Dr. Christopher Graham, who attended and later taught in a similar school.

Erected by Olmsted County Historical Society.
