The first smithy stood here. It burned in 1921. Neighbors diverted the brook so the new shop could be farther away from the house. In memory of Rene Schasel 1947 - 2019.
Joseph & Nellie Vagg moved here with son & dau. in 1909. In 1929 they remodeled the home. Nellie was always a devotee to temerance - WCTU. Gift- Schasel Estate Executors.
Erected 2021 by Cobblestone Society Museum.
