Regarding Der Wienerschnitzel. Founder John Galardi was a former Taco Bell employee (as were the founders of Del Taco, Naugles, and Baker’s). The chain changed its name to Wienerschnitzel in 1977, but still uses “Der” in some of their advertising. Wienerschnitzel locations are mostly in California and Texas, with more locations in 8 other states.
