Regarding Memory Chapel. Built in 1870 in the Carpenter Gothic Victorian style, originally located at F Street and Marine Avenue, moved to its present location in 1939. The original pews are still in use. This is now part of Calvary Presbyterian Church, built in 1929. Memory Chapel is Los Angeles Historic-Cultural Monument No. 155, designated in 1976.
