Inscription.  Dedicated in memory and honor of the men and women of Carmichaels and Cumberland Twp. who served their country to preserve us a free nation

If other eyes grow dull and other hands slack and other hearts cold in the solemn trust, ours shall keep America well as long as the light and warmth of life remain in us
