Regarding San Pedro Municipal Building. Also known as San Pedro City Hall, the seven-story building was completed in 1928 and is the tallest building in San Pedro. It includes an old jail, a wood-paneled courtroom, the archives of the San Pedro Bay Historical Society, and a fire station converted into a museum - the Los Angeles Fire Department Harbor Museum.
San Pedro became part of the city of Los Angeles in 1909.
