We the people of Union County and the United States of America truly express our appreciation for those who fought so valiantly in the Korean Conflict to preserve our freedom from Communism.... YOU ARE NOT FORGOTTEN... You will never be forgotten for the blood, sweat and tears that you shed on that forsaken peninsula of Korea. We hereby firmly resolve that the 36,916 brave men and women shall not have died in vain... so help us God.
