Ballard Avenue Landmark District
Built by Ballard saloon entrepreneur Louis Anderson, this structure was originally home to Warren Brothers Drug Store. In 1912 Samuel and Lewis Barthelemy opened the well-known Ballard Hardware and successfully conducted business from here for twelve years. The upper level of the building housed the Hazelton Hotel.
