1. North Georgia College Gate Marker
This arch was donated to the college by the graduating class of 1951.
By tradition, it is considered to be unlucky for freshmen to walk under the college arch.
Over the years, a path was formed where freshmen detoured around the arch.
When the arch was expanded in 1995, a special freshman passageway was constructed.
