Inscription. Company 12 began as an auxiliary to the McLean VFD as part of the County's World War II Civil Defense. Its name changed to Great Falls VFD Nov. 7, 1955. The bell from the first Forestville School moved here when a new school was built on this site. It commemorates the history of the community and the commitment of its residence.
