Airlift Hall of Fame Memorial
This airlift hall of fame memorial is dedicated to the men and women who have contributed to airlift and the success of this great nation and our freedom.
Built with contribution and donated to the United States Air Force by the Airlift Association. This memorial consist of three major sections. here, on the east end, is a piece of the Berlin Wall furnished by the Luftbruecke Chapter of the Airlift Association, along with a Replica of the Berlin Airlift memorial featuring the Luftbruecke or "air bridge" signifying the sustaining airlift provide to Berlin. To the west is airlift memorial commemorating those who given their lives conducting airlift missions for this country. The two memorials are connected by the walkway of fame. Significant contributors to airlift are inducted into the Hall of Fame annually by the Airlift Association, and are represented by bronze bust on the pillars lining the walkway.
We stand in awe of those who went before and paved the way -- Through their tenacity, dedication, and hard work, we are a free world.
