2. MLB: Ranking the 20 Greatest Wall Grabs in Baseball History. #4: Kenny Lofton Scales Center Field Fence, Reaches to Take Away Home Run in 1996. Lofton ran and timed his jump at the wall perfectly, scaling the fence to take away a home run. Lofton reached over the fence as he was about shoulder-high with the top part of the fence and snared the ball. It was one of many acrobatic plays the center fielder would make throughout his career.
