Inscription. Residence — 818 S. Bonnie Brae. A prototype of distinctive architecture of the boom of the 80’s. Declared Historic Cultural Monument No. 45 by the Cultural Heritage Board, Municipal Arts Department, City of Los Angeles.

Regarding Mooers House. Named for the second homeowner, Frederick M. Mooers, whose gold discovery became the Yellow Aster gold mine near Randsburg. Built in 1894, the Victorian era house combines elements of Queen Anne, Richardsonian Romanesque and Moorish Revival architectural styles. It was listed in the National Register of Historic Places in 1976.
