Nixon Boarding House and the Whitley Boarding House
This two story wooden structure had 6 rooms for guests and was the first Nixon Boarding House and then later the Whitley Boarding House. Red water was featured. This was the location of Alexander and Russell Funeral Home during the 1950's before moving into the Joines Boarding House on the Lafayette Road.
