Martlesham Heath, Ipswich, England
October 1943 – May 1945

412 missions flown in P-47 and P-51 aircraft;
276 enemy aircraft were destroyed with the
loss of 58 pilots. This memorial is offered
as a perpetual reminder of the sacrifices
required to preserve the free world.
