Latrobe in Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania — The American Northeast (Mid-Atlantic)
Second Ward School and Bell
1882 - 2014
The building also housed elementary classes and later
the district administration offices.
The step stones on the left, once the steps that led
to the front door, are flanked by the hip walls that bordered
those steps. The plaque at the end of the walk overlooked
the entrance for more than 130 years and is encased by
bricks from the original building.
