Inscription.
• The first batch of beer was produced on July 13, 1891.
• Originally built with three 450-barrel copper brew kettles
• Enlarged to the south in 1902 - providing four additional 450 barrel copper brew kettles
• Brewhouse A was the second brew house built within the Schlitz complex. The first and original stood on Walnut Street
• Milwaukee iron master, Cyril Colnik, created the original wrought iron entrance gates
