1. Air Transportation Specialist Marker
Inscription. Air mobility starts and ends on the ground, entrusted to an Air Force Air Transportation Specialist, "Port Dawgs" from the active duty, Air Force Reserve and Air National Guard are on duty around the world at main operating bases and deployed locations ensuring cargo and passengers are delivered to the right place , at the right time. CMSGT (Ret.) Walter Decker CMSGT (Ret.) William Powell, and CMSGT (Ret.) David Eisenhuth epitomize the thousands of Port Dawgs who deliver combat power or provide humanitarian assistance, with a commitment to excellence. Port Dawgs developed innovative solutions like in transit visibility, trans loading aircraft, and the Aerial Port Expeditor Program improving the efficiency of aerial port operations. Air Transportation Specialists are the backbone of the global mobility system and our nations ability to respond any where in the world.
