Inscription. Erected by the Citizens of Harrison County in memory of its soldiers who served in the Wars from 1776 to 1907.

Monument has been relocated three times since its original placement including 1953 when it was moved to make room for the Stonewall Jackson Monument which remains in front of the Harrison County Court House.
