Regarding 215 E. Prospect Ave. According to a March 28, 2018 article in The Ottawa Times, the red brick Georgian house was built for Dr. William Fread and his wife, Ellie, in 1930. It was designed by premier Ottawa architect Jason Richardson and has uncommon features for the area, including a poured concrete foundation, a curved mahogany staircase, Herman Nelson Invisible Radiators and a Bangor slate roof.
