Robert Troup bought the building in 1993 to expand his business. The building has a pent roof and gabled dormers. Presented by the City of Toccoa

R. L. Smith first started a television and appliance center at the corner of Doyle and Pond Streets on June 1, 1966. In January of 1972, Smith Furniture opened in this downtown location, formerly a garage, where the store operated for 21 years. Mr. Smith actively supported Downtown Toccoa through the years and served as president of the Downtown Merchants Association. Smith Furniture, now located at 1107 S.
