In the beginning, after the Great Depression, Troup’s was located in an upstairs studio. With determination from Mr. Troup and ongoing change in business operations, Troup’s became a nation-wide photo-finishing operation, taking in, processing, and sending out 400 to 700 rolls of film. Today, Troup’s serves Northeast Georgia as one of the most well-known and respected portrait studios around with a complete professional lab housing state-of-the-art digital printing.
