Compositor michoacano nacido en Tacambaro, hizo estudios en el Colegio de San Nicolas y en el Seminario Conciliar de Morelia.

Es autor de las canciones La Borrachita, Alborada, Acercate a Tu Ventana, Dulce Recuerdo, Serenata Azul, Mil Tierra, y La Despedida. Se inmortalizo con Adios Mariquita Linda.

He is the author of Las Canciones la Borrachita, Alborada, Acercate a Tu Ventana, Dulce Recuerdo, Serenata Azul, Mil Tierra, and La Despedida. He is most famous for the immortal Adios Mariquita Linda.
