1. Stephens-Yelton House Marker
Inscription. This house was built c. 1884 for Hayden Polk Stephens (1844-1932), an up and coming Burlington lawyer. It is an outstanding example of a late 19th Century Burlington residence. H.P. Stephens later became a Judge in Kenton County, where he died in 1932. In the mid-20th Century, the house served as the home and office of Burlington town physician Dr. Martin A. Yelton (1879-1964) and his wife Alice.
 
Erected 2008 by Boone County.
