Inscription.
Jack Schneider was our city engineer from 1976 until his passing in 2008. The results of his tireless efforts can be seen throughout the city of Pottsville, but his dedication to the community didn't end at City Hall.

His attention to detail is evident in the design of this handicap entrance ramp, dedicated to his memory. Anyone who walks the streets of Pottsville will enjoy the fruits of Jack's engineering labors of love.

Jack actively contributed to his country in the Army Corp[s] of Engineers and in his community through his church and other civic organizations. He was an instrumental part of the design and planning for the restoration of this St. Patrick Parish Center.

Erected by St. Patrick's Parish.
