Rondell White is a Jones County native who went on to play Major League Baseball. White attended Jones County High, where he would be drafted out of high school by the Montreal Expos in 1990 in the 1st round. White would be named Atlanta Journal-Constitution's Player of the Year in 1990, along with being named to the USA Today and Collegiate Baseball All-American teams. White would make his Major League debut in the 1993 season. White's best season would come in 2003, where he would make his first All-Star appearance, hit .289, 87 RBIs and 22 Home Runs. Over White's 15 year career, he would end up playing for the Expos, Twins, Cubs, Tigers, Royals, Padres and Yankees.
