Central Branch National Home for Disabled Volunteer Soldiers (NHDVS)/ Dayton Veterans Administratio Home (Curretly known as the Dayton VA /Medical Center) Has been designated a National Historic Landmark This site possesses national significance as an outstanding representation of the innovation and evolution of a national system of veterans care and benefits. It was the first racially integrated NHDVS facility that provided a wide range of services to all military veterans. 2012 National Park Service United States Department of the Interior
