Leyman Wilcox owned this station until the 1920's and 1930's Mr. Wilcox served as Wayne County sheriff from 1921-24 and Deputy Sheriff from 1929-33. The station was later operated by Charles Abshear and then by J. Arthur Davis. (Marker Number F.)
