1. Help Six Chimneys, Inc. Marker
Inscription. Help Foundation Inc. rehabilitated this landmark property in 1983 after Maxine Goodman Levin acquired the building in order to save and restore the property.

Formerly known as the Bascogne Hotel, the building was constructed more than a century ago on one of the oldest streets in Cleveland. The hotel was reported to be made up of six townhouses once owned and used by J.D. Rockefeller to house business associates.

This property allowed Help Foundation Inc. to provide housing which contributed to a revitalization of the midtown area in downtown Cleveland. Today, forty-six individuals live and work to achieve full independence through an innovative program funded by federal, state and local governments, as well as foundations, corporations and individuals who share our vision of helping others.
