Additional commentary.
1. Eden Inn
Eden Inn was originally owned by my grandfather Edgar Duerst in the early 1900’s. He also built a house next door at 9810 Irving Park Road in which I lived from birth until 1961. My mother was Edgar’s daughter Edna (Duerst) Kirchhoff who lived there until around 1970. After Edgar died around 1929 there were several owners of the Eden Inn until the property (including the house our family lived in) was sold to Walgreens Note To Editor only visible by Contributor and editor
