Inscription. This 735 pound bell, fashioned from new ingot copper and imported block tin, was cast in 1886 for the Jerusalem Church of the Evangelical Association, today Trinity Evangelical Congregational Church, by Henry McShane & Co., Baltimore, MD, when the steeple was added to the congregation's 1874 church building. In 1935, following the demolition of the congregation's first church, the bell was installed in the tower of the present church where it remained until 2009.

For 124 years the bell had summoned the Church's congregation to worship to celebrate the glory of God. The bell was also rung to announce July 4 each year, to celebrate the end of World War I and World War II, and for other national observances. Dedicated to those members who came before us. 2020

Erected 2020.
