Inscription. This tablet is placed here by the members of the Ogden United Methodist Church as of the closing on June 7, 1992.

This is the site of the Ogden Evangelical Church begun in 1868.

In 1957 it became the Ogden Evangelical United Brethren Church a union of the Evangelical Church and the United Brethren in Christ Church which was started in 1896 on Pence Highway.

In 1968 it became the Ogden United Methodist Church, a union of the Evangelical United Brethren Church and the Methodist Church.
