Esta iglesia perteneció a la Parroquia de Chapa de Mota y fue sede de la Vicaria fija de San Bartolomé de las tunas. Su construcción data del siglo XIX.

English translation:
This church belonged to the Parish of Chapa de Mota and was the seat of the fixed Vicarage of San Bartolomé de las Tunas. Its construction dates from the nineteenth century.
