1. Stapleton's Grocery Marker
Inscription. In 1925 Kenny and Fannie Stapleton owned and operated this store. On the day depicted here J. D. Patten and Agnes Curry, having been to the drugstore next door, sat on the bench to enjoy their refreshments. Standing beside J. D. is Agnes' father, Jim Curry, with his friend Levin Pafford. On Main Street Kenny Stapleton and customer Mary Alford exchange greetings. (Marker Number 10.)
