Contributing property, Harlan Courthouse Square Commercial District, National Register of Historic Places #94001099.
From the NRHP nomination: This two-story brick building originally had an elaborate metal cornice, which has since been removed and portions of which had been removed by 1913. Despite the removal of the cornice, the building still exhibits a high degree of Italianate elaboration in the metal pilasters, corbelled dentils, and elaborate decorative hoodmolds. The metal I-beam with rosettes and metal pilasters flanking the storefront are extant. The second-floor interior retains the original woodwork and double doors as well as a pressed tin ceiling in the rear room. The first-floor wooden ceiling is covered by a suspended ceiling.
