1. Job's Temple Marker
Inscription. Begun, 1860; finished after the Civil War; handhewn log church is oldest in Gilmer Co. Job's Temple Class of M.E. Church, South was organized in 1866 by the Rev. G.S. McCutchen, first pastor. First trustees were Levi Snider, Salathiel, Wm. & N.W. Stalnaker, Christian Kuhl, James Pickens, and Ed Gainer. Placed on National Register in 1979.
