Inscription. One of the oldest surviving structures in Laguna Beach, this building was constructed in 1918. Built in the Cottage Style with gabled rood and dormers, the restaurant originally occupied the central part of the building under the large gable but was moved to its present location at the south end of the property in the late 1940s. In that same decade, the upstairs housed a radio station. The White House Restaurant is the longest continuously operated restaurant in Orange County.
