Wagon Top Boiler
A high dome, mounted over the rectangular firebox, provides the "driest steam possible which decreases the washing off of necessary lubricants.
Built for our Dixiana, this boiler was turned out in 1912 from Lima Locomotive works in Lima, Ohio and operated on many shortlines in Tennessee and Virginia. It came to Roaring Camp in 1964 and was retired in 1976.
