1. Interior Mossy Creek Bank Marker
Inscription. Mossy Creek Bank had a slogan of "Safe, Sound, Solid, Conservative". The bank advertised "Fire Proof Vault, Burglar Proof Safe and Time Locks" to solicit customers to open a bank account. Among the services offered were loans, stocks and bonds. One of Mossy Creek's most prominent citizens, Judge Milton Preston Jarnigan, served as president of Mossy Creek Bank during the early years and purchased the Victorian house, Glenmore Mansion, in 1882.
