1. Greece Marker
Inscription. 840 infantrymen of the Royal Helenic Battalion arrived in Korea on December 9, 1950. Once equipped and trained, this battalion was assigned to the U.S. 1st Calvary Division's. 7th Cavalry Regiment. Augmented by a second battalion shortly after the Korean War ended in a cease-fire, these units returned to their country in December 1955. 169 men were killed in action and 545 were wounded in action.
