1. Naval Special Warfare Marker
Inscription.
Dedicated to locally based Naval Special Warfare (NSW) personnel to include SEALs (Sea, Air and Land), SWCC (Special Warfare Combatant Craft) and support personnel assigned NSW commands, who have given their lives to our country. As members of the Naval Special Warfare community, NSW personnel have served in Vietnam, Iraq, Afghanistan, smaller conflicts around the world and counter-terrorism and anti-piracy missions. Whenever stealth and dedication are needed, NSW is called. SEALs and SWCCs have served our country with great distinction in extremely difficult circumstances which many times have gone unnoticed. Highly decorated but humble, they do not draw attention to themselves. We owe these exceptionally trained, extremely dedicated special warfare team members a debt that cannot be repaid.

Dedicated by a grateful City of Norfolk
